Choco Museum!
So this afternoon a couple of us got together and decided to go see the chocolate museum in Antigua. It was actually pretty cool, we got chef hats and aprons and everything!
Brittany, Margot, Me, Sarah, Erica and Desi
Margot and I!
Firstly, they took us on a tour that explained how the whole process works - from the cocoa tree...
To eventually roasting them after they've been picked and dried...
We then made a chocolate tea.
We peeled the beans after they'd been roasted, and stewed the shells in hot water - tasted interesting!

Then we crushed the beans, and made a nice paste, which we mixed using a pouring method as per the old times (yes, I didn't spill much!!)
Then we made our own chocolate bar!
Mine was colourful with sprinkles, of course.
